10.06.24 2AM JoKwon @ World Cup Support Event - The Saddest Rehearsal

I hate to post up the photos,but I still have to.As much as I am a big fan of Kwon and everything that he is,today is the day where I wished that he's not a celebrity,not 2AM leader,and especially not that very popular KkapKwon - I wished for today that he is just the regular person JoKwon so he wouldn't have to go through such a heart-wrenching situation like the one he had to go through today.

Yesterday,one of Kwon's closest and oldest friend Wonder Girl's SunYe lost her father and JoKwon was one of the first people to arrive at the hospital and was by SunYe's side during the service.This rehearsal today was Kwon's first public appearance after the sad incident and it was said that he actually arrived at the rehearsal place coming directly from the service.Fanaccounts stated that the whole entire time during the rehearsal Kwon was avoiding any sort of eye contact with fans who were present and was seen choking and holding back tears at various points during the session.

 

I myself have watched a Kwon-focused fancam of the rehearsal,and by God - it was simply heartbreaking to watch.He wasn't just holding back tears;I believe there was a point where he actually cried but being the ultimate professional that he is he took a breath and resumed singing as if there was nothing wrong with him,although there were still other moments where he looked like he was this close to break down and lose control of it all.I can't help but teared as I watched the fancam because there was just this pained aura that was emanating off him and it was so unlike his usual self and there was no denying how hurt he was to be singing on stage like nothing's wrong when inside he's probably feeling completely crushed.

But my wish remains just as a wish - and for JoKwon the Entertainer,the job must be done as is required of him.Tonight he wore the Red Devil t-shirt and put on the smiling singer mask and performed as joyfully as he can be, with great fireworks exploding merrily and beautiful cheerleaders surrounding him.But the saddest rehearsal tells us fan another story and it will be something that I will remember for a long time to come.
