10.10.31 2AM Comeback Stage - Like Crazy + You Wouldn't Answer My Calls @ InkiGayo
Befitting it's nickname as "the most awaited comeback stage", 2AM's performance on InkiGayo is my pick as the best Comeback stage out of all four stages for the start of this promotion.YWAMYC was pre-recorded earlier in the day and according to fanaccounts all four guys were in a great mood as the number of turnouts by I AMs at the studio was the biggest out of all four pre-recording sessions they have had so far.Like Crazy was performed live during the show and I'm not saying this because he's obviously my bias in 2AM but JoKwon was definitely giving it all during 'Like Crazy";I especially had goosebumps while he was singing the last chorus - he looked like he might break down crazily at any given second yet his vocalization was flawless;it was just magnificent.And to think that he was the same guy who dance-battled with Psy with his unstoppable Kkap-dance skills on the same InkiGayo episode,lol..I knew that I am a Kwonholic for all the right reasons.
Anyways,good job to my lovely AM boys for all the great comeback performances this week.Crossing my fingers for only great,great things to happen for 2AM after this comeback!

10.10.30 2AM Comeback Stage You Wouldn't Answer My Call + Like Crazy @ Music Core
2AM's second comeback stage on national tv!According to fanaccounts rehearsal for Like Crazy was done twice today and during both sets of performance Kwonnie's voice cracked, probably due to not enough warm-ups and his own very exhausted condition (sobs..Kwon-ah T_T) and fans were worried about him but thankfully during the live show performance itself he performed perfectly like fans believed he would.You did well,Kwon!
For today's comeback once again You Wouldn't Answer My Call was a pre-recorded performance and while I liked the concept of the guys singing in individual gigantic photo frames on stage,I really am NOT liking the Presley-esque "Cow Lick" hairstyle on Kwondaejang.Like seriously,are we not in 2010 right now?Why the sudden fascination with cowlicks,dear Miss Stylist/Coordi?It's a good thing that JoKwon is just gorgeous the way he is and even better(?)- well actually I can't quite decide if this is a good thing or a bad thing - that he has been sporting several other hairstyles that were wayyy crazier and outta-this-world previously, that even the Elvis cowlick looks good on him.Tsk.

10.10.29 2AM Comeback Stage - You Wouldn't Answer My Call + Like Crazy @ Music Bank
For 2AM's comeback performances today on Music Bank, Like Crazy was a pre-recorded stage while You Wouldn't Answer My Call was a live performance during the show itself!Congratulations boys on your succesful first comeback stage on national tv!!And congratulations to myself cause I managed to watch it LIVE on tv..hehe.
I thought that for outfits and styling wise,I preferred yesterday's looks on MCD but the guys' performance for the songs were much better today on MuBank.Well,they are only just getting their engines warmed up and I believe they will improve the more they performed on music shows and as long as they don't overworked those precious vocal chords,there shall be no big problem.2AM fighting!

10.10.27 2AM Live in 3D "2AM SHOW" Showcase + Recording
2AM recorded their special showcase for Saint o'clock today with hundreds of selected lucky fans to start their comeback activities and the recorded 3D version of this showcase will be released in 12 theaters all over S.Korea in December.All four guys looked dashing in their brand new stage outfits and according to fanaccounts they performed superbly too,especially the new songs.I'm thinking that airing the showcase in theaters will be a good step to promote 2AM's 3-days-straight first ever Concert that will be happening late in December and it is also going to go a long way in introducing 2AM's capabilities and music to the general public,especially those who already knows of their songs but is yet to be a devoted fan.One of 2AM's special uniqueness in my eyes would be their capability of attracting fans from various age groups and also both the female and male audience due to their undeniable talent as great vocalists and friendly personalities,and I hope with the showcase being aired in theaters more people will be able to learn more about 2AM the singing group,after witnessing much of their skills and comedic talent on variety shows and such all this while.
Fans who attended the showcase were raving about the overall look of the whole stage set in their fanaccounts and when I finally saw the photos I could understand their reactions.Originally I was a little bit apprehensive that the stage would not be up to par for a show that is being recorded in 3D for its theater release but thankfully my fears were proven pointless;Big Hit Ent obviously did their research properly and was well-prepared in executing the event.Now I wish they would release a DVD of this showcase so other fans out of Korea can enjoy the experience as well.

10.10.18 JoKwon The Actor's First Day: MBC Daily Sitcom All My Love Shooting + Confessions of A Fan
Kwon tweeted that today would be his first day shooting the new MBC Daily Sitcom "All My Love", and as we all know this will be his first official foray into the acting world.Also acting in the sitcom as his twin would be his WGM partner Brown Eyed Girls' GaIn and also MC/Comedienne/Actress Park MiSeon who is probably best known to the international audience for being the MC on We Got Married Season 2,Sebakwi and also Happy Together,who is going to act as Kwon's mother.
For those not in the know,Daily Sitcoms productions in S.Korea have one of the most GRUELLING schedules ever,even worst that productions of regular dramas that aired for 2 nights in one week.For the obvious reason that Daily Sitcoms episodes are aired every single day during weekdays,there are a lot of footages required and shooting goes almost non-stop during the week,to provide more footages to be aired in the next few days.Now put into consideration that JoKwon has top-billing in this sitcom as he is one of the main characters and that means he is required in quite a lot of scenes as compared to if he was starring in this sitcom as a side character.Granted that in sitcoms not all characters are given a whole lot of screen time for one whole episode during it's entire run of 6 long months(as it will follow the storyline and at certain points and times different characters will be the focal point) but as a main character and during the early stages of the broadcast where the foundation of the story is being toldl,there is no question that Kwon's character will be appearing a lot in the episodes from the start.And let's be realistic that shooting a sitcom/drama is no joke;the process can go for very long hours with actors lacking sleep and rest the whole time they were shooting the project.And this becomes even worse when the scene calls for an outdoor shoot;being out in the cold for long hours straight can take its toll on even the strongest man,just imagine doing that day after day while ALSO going on music shows and recording for long hours and promoting on live radios at the same time.
The shooting schedule as a main character in a daily sitcom as it is already makes Kwon a VERY busy man but let's add the schedules of promoting 2AM's new album to that;now THAT makes me one very worried fan.For a professional singer one of your utmost concern would be the condition of your throat and the quality of your voice as you sing,and some singers are very well-known for practicing the "no talking" principle before and on the day of an important performance just so they could "rest" their vocal chords and prepare themselves to be in the best physical condition before going on stage.And I'm sure for the comeback promotions of a full album two long years in the making that 2AM boys wants to deliver only the best performances to their eagerly awaiting fan,plus it has been the talks that the songs in the new album challenges the boys as singers as never before that they needed extra vocal lessons nowadays;that should tell us how important this comeback promotions is going to be.

10.10.18 Saint o'clock First Teaser - Now There's No More/Nothing Left Now
Last night was a joy for all 2AM fans,especially so for Kwonnie fans.Not only did his appearance on KJE's Chocolate was finally aired(AND they didn't edit out Endless Love,yay!!) Big Hit Entertainment released the first ever teaser off Saint o'clock when the clock struck 12 am,and too many fans were loading AM's webpage simultaneously that the server went crashing down in merely 2-3 minutes!Along with the less than 60 seconds long teaser they also released a brand new concept photo,and oh my god did the deadly combination off both the song AND the image took my breath away.
Okay,so I didn't exactly stop breathing but it more like robbed my capability to think straight for a while.And then when I realized that this teaser wasn't even going to be their title track,that just stunned me even more.Because it was REALLY good;and if something that good was not made their title track..it kinda made me nervous,yet at the same time excited to think about how AWESOME the title track is going to be.
In this teaser I was impressed by how the guys were working their vocals in ways I've never heard them do previously and it all produced an overall devastating effect;the expectation I had for the past few weeks have all been blown away by this short teaser,and now after listening to the teaser of Now There's No More repeatedly I think I have developed an even higher expectation for the title track and of course for the rest of the album.I think I'm beginning to understand why PD Bang Shin Hyuk had such a confidence to allow our boys to promote double titles this time around,and ahh aren't we lucky to be fans of 2AM to be able to experience this chance.I've always known the boys are talented vocalists through their previous 4 albums but perhaps through this album they will be surpassing all the expectations I had of them as "an idol group who can sing really well" and they will finally be just a real vocal group who does not need anything else to rely on except for good music and real,brilliant talent as vocalists.

It's our first glimpse at the concept of 2AM's upcoming first full album and I am thrilled beyond description.Looking back at previous concepts 2AM had for their albums; This Song(practically ZERO concept),Confession of A Friend,Can't Let You Go Even If I Die,I Did Wrong and now THIS,you will easily understand and probably will be able to relate to my unsuppressed joy.Especially even more so when you compare the kind of styling and conceptualization that their brother group has received over the years for each album project - the unfairness of it all - you will agree with me that FINALLY it feels like 2AM is receiving everything that they should have been receiving from the very beginning.This photo right here looks GREAT,and it hints at an unpredictable music style as well as better a quality product from 2AM in this project ,and I cannot be more exhilarated!
2AM in black suits is a major weakness of mine,and how could I not love it when that point is so wonderfully exploited here?And I'm sure many fans share the same thoughts like I do.And Kwondaejang always looks amazing in suits that are the PERFECT fit for him(no,you're not included in that list you baggy,ill-fitting Bali wedding suit!) courtesy of his beautifully built upper body and magnificent shoulders,so to say that I practically whooped with joy when I saw this photo would be an understatement.Those leggings he had to wear during CLYGEIID promotion days still give me the shivers whenever I see them nowadays,and I meant shiver in a bad way.
I won't say much about the hair,except that I am so thankful that this time around the stylist did not chop off most of his hair or gave him a glaringly out-there hair colour.But I must say that I hope to see both of Kwondaejang's beautiful eyes when 2AM are performing on stage for this promotion; to watch Kwon's eyes as he is singing so wholeheartedly is a reward on it's own,do you hear me?PD Bang?
As 2AM will be promoting double title tracks and releasing 2 version of albums this time around,it is hotly speculated right now that the other concept will be an exact opposite of the one that has been released,but I'm sure I will love the other concept as well.Kwon has been talking about how he's been receiving vocal lessons and that the new song is "hard" but knowing 2AM and how good they could be,I believe they will not dissappoint me and other fans.Right now,I'll just take my gorgeous Black AM with me and just enjoy them to my heart's content while waiting for their new music,thank you very much.=)

Guess who was part of the VIP at the BVLGARI Men Perfume launch today?One svelte-looking JoKwon,of course. =)
Fellow celebrity attendees at the event other than ChangMin included actors Yeon Jong Hoon,Yoon Sang Hyun and a few others.Don't ask me why but I just feel incessantly pleased that our boys are receiving invitations to such exclusive events nowadays...hehe.
Another busy day again for JoKwon today.He took a flu shot,attended the Bvlgari launch,went recording for 2AM's song for the Shin Seung Hoon 20th Anniversary Album and god knows what else.Not a problem,as long as you stay healthy and happy,okay Kwon?^^
